Chemical Peeling for Pimples / Acne
Acne, better known as pimples, is a very common condition seen in adolescent to adult population. Treatment normally consists of creams & oral medications.
However many forms of pimples either don't respond properly to above treatment line or take a long time to get controlled. This can lead to side effects like black spots, scars/pits etc.
Chemical peeling has revolutionized the pimple treatment helping in early resolution of lesions, thus avoiding complications.
Many agents can be used for this purpose; like salicylic acid, glycolic acid, mandelic acid etc in varying concentrations. Out of these salicylic acid is considered to be better agent due to its increased penetration in pimple lesions.
Peeling sessions are done every 1-2 weeks for about 4-6 sittings.

Mild burning /redness can be appreciated during/after session, but it is temporary.
